Located in Vourey , 30 km northwest far away from Grenoble, the farm, property since 1809, is today mainly dedicated to walnuts production.
Formerly main activity in this part of Bas-Dauphiné, wine production is now preserved for domestic consumption.
The cultivated varieties are "Franquette" and "Mayette". The orchard suffars no chemical processing and nuts are dried in a traditional way of trays, by the sun and the wind.
"La mondée" : It's the traditional Dauphiné farms' winter activity. It's the sorting of the hulled walnuts. The most beautiful are intended for the pastry and the others will be transformed into oil.
More recently, the farm has diversified into the production of kiwis, which originate from New Zealand and adapt particularly well to the local climate.
In the autumn of 2025, a trial planting of olive trees of the Frantoio, Olivière and Lucques varieties was carried out.
